About Our Vernon Hills Location
Where am I? You will find yourself asking yourself this question when savoring an American craft beer flight selection, a pint of a Tighthead, Lake Bluff, or Ten Ninety Brewery’s latest selection, or the timeless flavor of a Weinstephaner. Beerhead Bar is a true craft beer bar designed for the beer purist. Built around open communal seating that flows out to a comfortable patio complete with firepits and fountain, Beerhead Bar bustles yet soothes all at the same time. It’s not the city, but it’s metropolitan. It’s not Europe, yet it is reminiscent of a German bier garden or cozy old-world tavern in certain corners … a place to meet friends, old or new … a place where you will tend to return. Tried and true. The Beer Market in Vernon Hills is the place many of us call home. We hope you will too. Drink Good Beer. Live Happy.
Resident Beer Pro
Name: Matt Clark
Date Started: May of 2015
What got you interested in beer: A desire for better beer led me to discover Craft Beer, I knew Miller, Coors, and Bud couldn’t be the only thing out there, and I found it with Craft Beer.
What is your favorite beer: My latest favorite beer is Bears Choice IPA by Tighthead Brewery from Mundelein, IL.
What makes TBM special: Beerhead Bar is a special place because no establishment around is as unique and diverse.
Our bottle selection could take a lifetime to get through which sounds scary but as a Beer Head, I have the ability to never have the same thing twice, so every experience is new and fresh.
What would you like the world to know about TBM: The world needs to know that not only are we knowledgable but we’re inviting. The craft beer world is a family and we open our arms to anyone and everyone willing to learn.
Anything else quirky or fun: I am an avid home brewer and love to bring beer into the kitchen. Beer is not only amazing to drink, it’s also something that you can marinade meats with as well. One of my favorite things is to marinade pork tenderloin with some salt, pepper, and Ommegang Three Philosophers.
