About Our Vernon Hills Location

Where am I? You will find yourself asking yourself this question when savoring an American craft beer flight selection, a pint of a Tighthead, Lake Bluff, or Ten Ninety Brewery’s latest selection, or the timeless flavor of a Weinstephaner. Beerhead Bar is a true craft beer bar designed for the beer purist. Built around open communal seating that flows out to a comfortable patio complete with firepits and fountain, Beerhead Bar bustles yet soothes all at the same time. It’s not the city, but it’s metropolitan. It’s not Europe, yet it is reminiscent of a German bier garden or cozy old-world tavern in certain corners … a place to meet friends, old or new … a place where you will tend to return. Tried and true. The Beer Market in Vernon Hills is the place many of us call home. We hope you will too. Drink Good Beer. Live Happy.

What got you interested in craft beer?

Trying 3 Floyds Arctic Panzer Wolf opened my eyes to what beer could be and I wanted to see what other flavors could be achieved by this magical potion.

What is your favorite beer?

Favorite beer is a hard question but the beers i always go back to are the Apex Predator by Off Color and Pseudo Sue by Toppling Goliath

What makes Beerhead Bar special?

Beerhead offers community style seating and a wide selection of beers so you can come hang out with your current friends or make a bunch of new ones.

What would you like the world to know?

Every year we have a BIG BAD BEER event where we tap all the rare beers we collect throughout the year.

Anything else quirky or fun you’d like people to know?

In my spare time I enjoy learning languages. I am currently learning Russian but i have studied Spanish, French, and German.

Favorite food to eat with Beer: A hot salty pretzel with warm beer cheese pair with every beer and its so hard to turn down.
