What got you interested in beer: All of my friends were drinking “Pennsylvania style” and “American light” beers, then, one day I was introduced to Flying Dog Old Scratch (a craft style amber lager) and was immediately hooked. From that point on I became what some would consider, well, a “beer snob,” and began searching for and trying to drink the best beers I could get my hands on.
What is your (latest) favorite beer: Since it has been very hot and muggy i have been really into sour beers. My favorite at the time is St. Louis Gueze Fond Tradition. It is a tart Lambic worthy of puckering up for! I am also a big fan of Dank and Sticky from the Hop Freshner Project. It is a Double IPA that is earthy and delicious.
What makes Beerhead Bar special: I think Beerhead Bar is special because we offer a friendly, approachable method to drinking beer. The entire staff is well educated and can help find anyone something that he or she enjoys without being snobby or overwhelming.
What would you like the world to know about Beerhead Bar: We offer the most rad beers at affordable prices. There is something here for everyone so come drink some amazing beer, listen to great tunes, laugh, have fun…and maybe even learn some things!
Anything else quirky and fun: My motto – do not think of the glass as half empty or half full. Think of it as halfway to your next beer : )
Favorite Food to eat with beer: veggie pizza!
