What got you interested in beer: As I started to explore more bars around town I began to notice some strange bottles I didn’t recognize and became instantly intrigued. In my younger drinking years, I thought I was real bougie drinking Yuengling while the rest of my friends were focused on Natty and then I found Flying Dog Old Scratch Vienna Lager (now discontinued) and that became my introduction to craft beer. After that I discovered hops and it was all over from there!
What is your (latest) favorite beer: One that is cold, delicious, and in my hand. But seriously though…it really depends on the season!
What makes Beerhead Bar special: Staff, regulars, strangers: we’re all family here. Our welcoming atmosphere and passion/knowledge of beer far exceeds any other beer joint in town and we are able to help others explore without coming off as pretentious “beer snobs”.
What would you like the world to know about Beerhead Bar: Beard or no beard we welcome all! You don’t have to know a lot about craft beer…we will create a fun, relaxed environment for anyone to delve into this exciting industry and find something you truly enjoy!
Anything else quirky and fun: Today I was a hero…I rescued some beer trapped in a bottle!
