What got you interested in Beer: My first serving job was at the Lucky Monk, which is a brewpub in South Barrington, Illinois. I enjoyed drinking some craft beers, but didn’t have a great understanding for them. Our brewmaster Anthony had a passion for brewing craft beer that was contagious. I grew a great understanding for the process and a curiosity to try new beers.
What is your favorite beer: I don’t have one favorite beer. There are so many different styles of beer and I am always in the mood for different styles at different time. I have a top list, but I’m always trying new things that keep changing my list. If I had to choose the best beer that I have ever had, it would be Derivation from Side Project.
What makes Beerhead special: The variety of beer and ability to have a beer for everyone is what makes Beerhead special. Beerhead is somewhere where an average drinker can find something they enjoy, while also providing some of the best and most sought after beers in the country.
What would you like the world to know about the Beerhead: I would like people to know that Beerhead is a place where you can count on great beer, great food, and great service. The staff will always find someone a beer based on what they like in a beer. If the menu is overwhelming don’t worry just use the knowledgeable staff to help out.
